Third Annual Seattle Fundraiser

Paint a Better Future for African Wild Dogs

hosted by Painted Dog Research Trust USA

7pm on Thursday, 23 February 2017

at Ballard Elks Lodge #827

We are excited to announce several new projects that Painted Dog Research Trust USA has launched to connect local college students in STEM related curriculum with projects that benefit conservation - and specifically the conservation of African wild dogs.

These include:

  • Finalized plans and training for our long-range, affordable research UAV
  • Solar Tree Design for powering sustainable campuses and local villages with Washington State University's Engineering Department
  • Bioremediation Wetland Design with University of Washington's Landscape Architecture Department

This year's event will focus on these projects and will also feature a talk by Dr. Gregory Rasmussen from Zimbabwe's Painted Dog Research Trust who will update our guests on the work done by his organization in the name of conservation and sustainability.
